This week the Cricut Circle blog issued a challenge to create something with or for an animal. I chose to create this layout of my cat. She is so crazy, she loves to lick the bathtub spout to get fresh water. I have no idea why she does this. She also loves to lay in the bathtub after someone gets out of the shower. In all ways except for this, she is a normal cat who hates water. But apparently not if it's self-inflicted??? Silly kitty....
This is a 12x12 layout. I used a sketch from Page Maps, as I usually don't use only one photo in my layouts so I needed a little help getting going.
For the challenge, you have to include at least two Cricut cuts. Here is a close up of a few of the cuts I used. The top heart is from the Four Legged Friends cart. The Relax saying is from Paper Pups. The bathtub with shower spout is from Everyday Paper Dolls. I inked the bathtub to give it a little more depth.
I hope you like it! I had a lot of fun creating it!

Four Legged Friends baby card
One of the big draws for me at Walmart on Black Friday were the new Cricut Lite cartridges! I went to a Walmart at about 2:45am and got 3 of the new Lites: Four Legged Friends, Twinkle Toes, and Zoo Day. I was pretty excited!
I had a baby shower at work today and the woman is having a boy. I thought this cute little kitty was perfect! I love creating things for boys because I only have girls! :)
He is cut at 4". I used my Imagine to print the colors and cut the shapes of the cat.
A close up:
The top background paper is from a K&Co. stack. The blue paper is printed on the Imagine to match the blue of the cat and then I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the hearts. The stamp is a December set from Big Lots (I can't think of the company).
I think this cart is sooo cute!
