My try at Pop Ups

I recently purchased the new Cricut cart, Everyday Pop Up Cards.  I wanted to try my hand at the pop ups, especially since the next Circle cart was going to be pop ups as well.  I had to make a wedding card so I tried out the wedding cake first.   I had no clue what size to make the cake so I did fit to page and gave it a try!

I got it all put together but then put it in the card - way too big!!

So I scrapped that and tried out the "Sweet Wishes" cut on page 52 instead.  This one I think was a bit small, cut at 3" but I wasn't turning back!  :)

For the cover, I did the rings on page 54, cut at 4".  I added some stickles to the diamond to make it sparkle.  The pattern paper is from a DCWV stack, the stamp is EK Success.

  2. Nice. I have the Pop Up Card Cricut cartridge and have been thinking of trying to make the hot air balloon. Do not belong to the Cricut Circle unfortuntely but like what I've seen about the Pop Up Neighborhood Cricut Circle cartridge.
